[Cloudflare One is] a cloud security platform that replaces legacy perimeters with Cloudflare’s global network.
Basically, Cloudflare’s Zero Trust Networking solution for enterprises that wish to replace their corporate VPN and route application traffic through Cloudflare’s network and suite of security tools.
WARP on the other end (formerly WARP with 1.1.1.1) is essentailly a consummer VPN that routes your traffic through Cloudflare’s network.
I do not systemically route my traffic through CF, and there are legitimate privacy concerns in doing so. But I have client who put their resources behind CF One, and I need warp-cli installed and working to access those resources.
There are alo use situations where routing through CF is a very sizeable advantages; typically, when on ISP networks that have poor peering.
CF handles a huge portion of the global internet traffic, whther you’re looking at communication, entertainment, online retail, etc. They also have an extermelly well distributed data-center network, with 330+ datacenters globally
